Last fiscal year, they took in over 10,000 animals and had to euthanize over 7,000. To put this in perspective, they take in 27 animals a day, 365 days a year! And, to really sicken you, they are forced to euthanize an average of 19 animals a day, 365 days a year! If that is not enough to make one stand up and pay attention, I am not sure what is! At Save the Tails we want to help. We are located in Northern Virginia and are willing to transport any animal from the Kanawha Shelter so that they can be fostered and adopted here in Northern Virginia. Save the Tails, Inc.
